Mexico football lost 55-12 to Odessa on Friday night at home but had an explosive offensive performance and much appreciation for the military. On Military Appreciation Night, different branches had booths for the public, the Missouri Military Academy color guard appeared during the National Anthem and spectators who served in the military stood to be recognized while their branch's theme song played on the public address system after the first quarter. Mexico had three of its four turnovers turned into Odessa touchdowns, but Drew DeMint finished with 153 yards and two long touchdown runs on nine carries.
