The Mexico wrestling teams each earn splits Thursday night in a Centralia tri meet. The boys defeated Eldon 35-21 prior to losing to Class 1 No. 1 Centralia 63-9, and the girls lost 24-18 to Eldon before defeating Centralia via tiebreaker after tying at 24.
Grant Van Horn and Dalton Arndt highlighted with their performance as Van Horn won via technical fall before falling just short 7-5 to a No. 1 ranked wrestler, Centralia's Rex Bryson, and Arndt edged Centralia Payton Mabrey with an 8-5 decision.
