Mexico's one bad inning leads to loss vs Hallsville, Feger hits two home runs

Mexico's defense was solid through seven innings but tapered off when Saturday's game went to extra innings. The Lady Bulldogs lost 10-5 to district foe Hallsville at home after committing three errors to allow four unearned runs out of five total Hallsville runs in the eighth inning. Prior to that point, sophomore Maddy Feger posted an excellent day at the plate by going 3-for-4 with two home runs. Feger hit her first career grand slam to give Mexico a 4-2 lead early in the game then hit a game-tying solo home run later for her first multi-home run game as a Lady Bulldog.
