Missouri Military Academy has just one more chance for a win before Christmas break. The Colonels will host Christian (0-4) at 6 p.m. Tuesday and then take a long break until their Jan. 9 game at Columbia Independent (0-3) but sustained their fifth straight loss on Monday night to Silex 62-32. MMA (1-5) was outrebounded 38-23 by the team it defeated 49-47 to open the season, trailing 36-17 at halftime. Joseph Roach led the Colonels nine points, Bradley Thumbi followed with seven points and four rebounds, and Nathan Dempsey had four rebounds and four steals. Silex (2-4) had three score in double figures including Tyler Twellman with 23, Jake Henry with 19 and Cole Fessler with 11.
