No injuries being reported following an apartment in the early morning hours of Friday, Dec. 23.
According to a press release from Mexico Public Safety they responded to the 1200 block of West Breckenridge regarding a residential fire. The first arriving officers were met with heavy smoke and fire. The fire was extinguished with extensive damage to 11 departments and the complex office. The fire is still under investigation regarding origin and cause.
Mexico Public Safety requested extra personnel and appartus from Little Dixie Fire Protection District through Mutual Aid.
