The Community R-VI FFA Chapter won the livestock evaluation career development event at the 95th Missouri FFA Convention. There were 59 teams in the competition.
The team members include Tucker Robnett, Lance Fort, Pacey Cope, and Brant Cope. Robnett placed fourth, Fort placed eighth, P. Cope placed 23rd, and B. Cope placed 180th out of 226 participants. The Audrain County FFA advisor is Stacy French.
Participants in the contest evaluate beef, sheep and swine using performance records and physical appraisals. The team members present oral reasons on three of six classes they judged to defend and explain the placing of the class.
