Raymond A. Keplar, 83, Santa Fe, formerly of Centralia, passed away Sat., March 9, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born Aug. 6, 1940, in El Dorado, Kan., the son of the late Arthur and Martha (Travnicek) Keplar. He first was united in marriage to Patricia (Ramsey), later he married Ruth Jean (Baldwin) and finally he reunited back to his first wife Pat.
He is survived by his wife Pat, two sons Steve (LeAnn) Keplar of Council Grove, Kan., and Ray Keplar of Centralia; two daughters Annie Clair of Salina, Kan. and Gina Keplar of Paris; one step daughter Pamela (John) Ford of Pratt, Kan.; one sister Karen Klassen of Augusta, Kan.; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, eleven brothers and sisters; a stepdaughter; a granddaughter and a grandson and Ruth Jean Keplar preceded him in death.
A celebration of life will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sat., March 16, 2024, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia.
