Miss Missouri Week 2022 is here again and as in years past, it promises to be a time where highlights abound and emotions run high as candidates vie for the title.
Among can’t-miss events on this year’s Miss Missouri schedule will be Saturday on the Square. This will be the second year it has been a part of the festivities, offering an opportunity for folks to visit with the candidates.
Saturday on the Square started in lieu of the parade and has been well received as Mexico’s downtown square beomes the center of the Miss Missouri universe for a short time. The 2022 edition will be held Saturday, June 18 from 9:30-11 a.m.
Candidates will line the downtown and Miss Missouri organizers welcome the public to stop by for a visit.
“The community is invited to come meet, get autographs and take pictures with Miss Missouri and all the candidates,” said a Miss Missouri spokesperson.
Candidates set up tents around the square and often hand out goodies and create fun stations for those that come by their tent.
