Mexico had lost to Hannibal and pitcher Evan Harsell this season but didn't allow it to happen again on Tuesday at home. The Bulldogs defeated the North Central Missouri Conference Pirates 3-1, scoring all of their runs in the fifth inning.
On Senior Night, senior Ty Sims tied the game with a single before senior Landyn Kleinsorge scored the winning run on a Drew DeMint sacrifice fly. Senior Andrew Runge allowed two hits and pitched around five walks in four innings to follow senior Jack Wilburn's three innings on the mound.
Seniors Tyler Thoenen and Matt McCurdy also picked up some hits for Mexico.
