Thunderbirds make noise in second half, defeat Mark Twain 30-14 on HOF night

North Callaway didn't have a good first half but had an amazing second half on Friday at home against Eastern Missouri Conference foe Mark Twain. The Thunderbirds defeated the Tigers 30-14 for their first conference win of the season after trailing 8-6 at halftime. In the first half, North Callaway had four turnovers but held onto the ball in the second half while being effective running the ball. Tucker Wright rushed for 171 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries – including three 34-yard runs – to lead North Callaway’s rushing attack of 323 yards on 47 carries.

Before the game, North Callaway held a ceremony to induct two longtime former coaches Mike Emmons and Terry Metcalf into the school's hall of fame.
