The Indians defeated Missouri Military Academy 20-0 in three innings for Van-Far's home opener, securing the first victory of this season and of Cameron Huff's head coaching career. Van-Far (1-1) finished with 24 stolen bases, 13 hits and five players with multiple RBI games, and Gibson Condie struck out six in three innings.
MMA (0-2) finished without any hits and its three pitchers combined for 18 earned runs, six walks and four strikeouts.
